Flatpack and Dismantling

Leave sufficient time to carry these jobs out. Plenty of preparation and planning will enable you to complete your move with the minimum of stress on the day. Alternatively we can incorporate this work within our quotation

Decluttering - really makes sense

Take a long hard look at what you really want to keep and what you have kept for years that is past its usefulness.

Disposing of items has three advantages, it gets rid of clutter, you may be able to make some money selling them and by moving less you could possibly be able to reduce your removal charge. Decluttering - a win/win proposition.

Labelling and Floor Plan

Clearly label fragile items and boxes that you are packing yourself.

Draw a floor plan of your new home and name each room so they can be identified by the removal crew and that way correctly labelled items will be delivered to the correct location.

Cartons and Packing Materials

We strongly recommend that you use the packing materials that the we provide, second hand wine cartons and supermarket boxes can be a recipe for disaster.

Don't use cartons that are very large. Don't overload cartons. For fragile items use the very strong double walled cartons.

Packing

Our best advice is that you pay a little extra and have your remover pack for you professionally. It may cost less than you think, it will save you time and drastically cut down the risk of damage. If you decide to pack yourself start as early as is practical and ask your remover if you are not sure how best to protect fragile or delicate items.
